Kylemore Cars is Ireland’s leading independent used car retailer, with over 1,000 cars in stock. As a result of ongoing business growth, we are currently recruiting a Customer Care & Service Support Advisor to join our Service/Aftersales Department.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Customer Care & Service Support Advisor to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to our Operational Lead, this role plays a critical support function by ensuring proactive customer care, accurate reporting, and effective coordination between departments. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring outstanding customer care through timely updates, professional communication, and the direct management of escalations. They will also be responsible for reporting on and coordinating vehicles that require additional preparation, while working closely with the Aftersales team to ensure seamless service follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

· Customer Care & Escalation Management

o Act as the main point of contact for customers requiring updates on vehicles undergoing additional or extended service.

o Provide clear, timely, and professional communication with customers throughout the process.

o Escalate complex or unresolved issues promptly to senior management or the relevant department.

· Preparation Line Oversight

o Monitor and manage vehicles requiring further work outside of the standard preparation workflow.

o Coordinate with colleagues and third party subcontractors to ensure vehicles are progressed quickly and efficiently.

o Maintain accurate reporting on vehicles requiring extra attention, ensuring customers and internal teams have clear timelines.

· Reporting & Process Improvement

o Produce daily and weekly reports on customer cases, escalations, and vehicles requiring additional preparation.

o Analyse recurring issues and provide recommendations for process improvements.

o Support Service Centre management in tracking KPIs for preparation times, escalations, and customer satisfaction.

· Aftersales Support

o Assist the Aftersales Department with warranty cases, service queries, and customer follow-up.

o Provide administrative and operational support to strengthen aftersales performance.

Qualifications & Skills

· Previous experience in a customer service or service support role within the automotive industry. (desirable).

· Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and service processes (desirable).

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to manage sensitive customer interactions.

· Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.

· Experience in reporting, case tracking, or service process management.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

· A proactive and customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.

· Full clean Irish Driving License ( NDLS Full Licence History required )

Reporting to the Financial Controller, this role will be key in supporting the Business, Financial Controller & Team. This exciting role is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career in an account role within a growing organisation.

Key duties and responsibilities:

·       Processing and generation of sales invoices

·       Processing of supplier invoices

·       Liaising with suppliers

·       Supplier reconciliation

·       Assist in process improvements

·       Maintenance and update of change of ownership transactions

·       Completion of daily, weekly & monthly reporting where required

·       Recording, updating and maintaining vehicles in the Company’s Core System

·       Vehicle Registration Tax (VRT) preparation and transaction processing

·       Act as the first point of contact, within the accounts team, to sales and other departments for accounting related queries.

·       General admin and filing

·       Manage multiple tasks within strict deadline

·       Any other accounts tasks that may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis

Skills

·       Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with colleagues, external third parties and customers.

·       The use of strong numeracy and literacy skills coupled with the ability to adapt to a new CRM system.

·       Proficient in Microsoft Excel

·       Strong attention to detail.

·       Ability to work well in a process driven environment.

·       The capacity to work to deadlines with ability to self-prioritise tasks.

·       Must speak fluent English.

Education and experience

·       Candidate must have proven experience in a similar accounts office role and hold Leaving Certificate or equivalent with further qualifications an advantage.

Motor Mechanic

Kylemore Cars is Ireland’s leading independent used car retailer.   As a result of significant expansion, we are currently recruiting for a number of key positions including a qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team.

The role of a mechanic involves repairing vehicles and conducting maintenance checks to ensure the automobile is in good running order. High-quality mechanics are an essential part of ensuring road safety and preventing accidents. The candidate must have excellent technical knowledge of a wide array of vehicles.

 The typical duties include:

  • Conducting vehicle checks to see if repairs are necessary and the level of urgency required.
  • Fitting of various wear & tear parts.
  • Testing automobiles to ensure the repairs were successful. This process may necessitate a road test.
  • Changing tyres, balancing & alignment of wheels.
  • Standard servicing of vehicles.
  • Conducting pre NCT / DOE inspections on vehicles.
  • Working with car accessory databases and requesting parts.
  • Updating vehicle maintenance records.
  • Maintaining work logs, repairs, and maintenance records.
  • Completing work within company standards.

Skills

  • A reasonable degree of fitness.
  • The ability to work alone without instruction or as part of a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with colleagues and customers.
  • Strong organisational skills and a deep level of concentration.
  • A methodical nature with outstanding attention to detail.

Education & Experience

  •  Candidate must have completed all phases of the Motor Mechanic apprenticeship.
  • Candidate must have 4+  years’ experience.

Experience in diagnostics and transmissions is an advantage.
